We had a pleasant stay overall, and the kitchen and breakfast staff were wonderfully friendly—especially welcome given the warm 27°C to 33°C weather during our visit. We also really appreciated being given fans during our stay. While the rooms were fine despite a few small stains on the carpets, the basic breakfast selection and front desk service gaps—including being told no ice or cold water was available during those hot times and to just drink the tap water, even when requesting to pay for ice—made for a modest experience rather than an excellent one. ​It didn't dampen our overall experience as we were out enjoying the Efteling theme park, but these minor things are certainly details we will remember when booking next time.

We had the 4 bed family room 233 which was very dated, but more like an apartment than hotel room. It was fully furnished with dining table, chairs, sofas and TV as well as a stocked kitchen! The beds were very comfortable and all clean, it was just the decor of the room that let it down in truth. The en suite looked like it was fitted in the 70s, albeit everything worked perfectly so no real complaints. The restaurant was brilliant, staff were very helpful especially with us being English speakers. Breakfast was very good, typical cooked breakfast with continental as a choice. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious, locals eat here too so that was a good sign to me. Overall, the hotel was great for what we needed - a place to sleep after a day at Efteling (7 minutes drive so perfectly located) and eat and evening meal.

I enjoyed the hotel location. Although room was a bit dated, it was a good size and fair value for money. Only feedback is I would recommend them having a kettle in the room as felt that was missing. If you're looking for a place to stay for a night or two, this option is acceptable. The room only provides towels; if you want a kettle, tea, coffee, or an iron, you will need to collect those items from the lobby. Additionally, the lights in the bathroom kept flickering, and on the last day, there was a strong, unpleasant odour coming from the drain. Good location for the Efteling theme park.

This was an overnight stay before our trip to Efteling, which is then only a short drive away. For our needs the hotel was good The room was a decent size for a family. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower. The decor was a little tired but not an issue for one night. We didn’t see a safe in our room and that would be an issue for longer stays. Staff were all friendly. Restaurant felt modern and clean, but breakfast options were limited. Again not an issue for a one night stay. I would stay here again as a stopover.

Great stay, just a little noisy

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Efteling - it was the perfect location for this! The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal we had in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were lovely and brilliant with the children. The family room was spacious and comfortable, it could have done with a kettle and hairdryer, but otherwise good. The only issue we had was the noise - some from other guests but mostly from doors banging late into the night and early in the morning. Overall a great stay, but we feel the hotel would benefit from some soft-closing doors!

This is a hotel very close (less then 10 minutes drive) to the Efteling park, that’s why we chose it. We had a family room of four. The room and the bathroom were spacious, however the furniture and overall look and feel was very old and outdated; there was no soap, shampoo or any other toiletries in the bathroom, no kettle in the room. The breakfast was ok, without any variety, the staff were friendly, however since the hotel and especially the restaurant were apparently out-staffed, the service was very slow.
