We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. "The stay in the hotel/Restaurant Schere was amazing. Lovely people, charming flair, great food and a beautiful old town with "Fachwerk" Houses a marketplace and an all around nice atmosphere. Great for couples with or without dogs who love to take an evening walk through an old town."
