"Absolutely worth it. Went in mid spring, and the grounds are gorgeous, lovely to explore or take a stroll in. The area was lovely too - cute little shops, restaurants, and charming old houses on cobblestoned streets. Very peaceful, safe, and quiet. 15 minute walk to the nearest bus station to head into Leiden Centraal (nearest major train station), so transport is still coinvent."

"This was a gorgeous, quite, and very comfy spot to stay. The internet was great. I worked in the rooms so was happy that is felt spaceous and had a gorgeous view of the water and the yard. There were a few shops within walking distance. It was a great central place to stay since I needed to drive to several places within an hour drive around the area."
