Grandhotel Stary Smokovec - quality always assured

I stayed at this hotel during my business trip for one night. At my arrival the check in was super quick by very professional staff. The room was very nice, clean and spacious, furniture very stylish and modern making you feel like in 5* hotel. Bathroom was nice and good to with basic supplies provided. Hotel’s a la carte restaurant provides a variety of delicious food and the staff is very professional, nice and welcoming. The entire interior of the hotel is very unique as the hotel has a very famous history. I fully recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Stary Smokovec in High Tatras in Slovakia.

Dovolená ve Vysokých Tatrách

Úžasný hotel, kde se začala psát historie od roku 1905. Hotel má úžasné detaily, která se dnes již nevidí. Krásné místo k odpočinku ve Vysokých Tatrách. Služby v hotelu jsou na velmi vysoké úrovni.Personál je profesionální. Mám rád toto místo a pravidelně se vracím. Kouzelné jsou apartmány hotelu.

Luxurious stay

Very friendly amd helpful staff, clean, grand, beautiful hotel with great services. Very nice pool suitable for small swimming and rest with wellness. Giod cake and coffee, great breakfast and dinner. It was pretty luxurious stay. I would come back.

Ein schönes Hotel mit Flair

Ein schönes 4 Sterne Hotel in der Hohen Tatra. Wir haben eine Familien Suite mit Halbpension gebucht und es hat sich gelohnt. Wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Berge, 2 wiklich große Zimmer mit 2 Bädern, ideal für eine 4 köpfige Familie, gutes Essen, Alles hat gepasst. Der Wellnessbereich ist relativ klein aber hat gereicht. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

super Personal, schöner Aufenthalt

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, besonders die Kronleuchter im Esssaal haben uns gefallen. Frühstück wie auch Abendessen waren super und abwechslungsreich. Location ist auch perfekt: 2min neben einer Bahn für auf den Berg und etwa in der Mitte zu den anderen Ausflugspunkten. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Im Wellnessbereich hat es Kinder und Leute in Badeanzügen, obwohl es klar als Nacktbereich (wegen Sauna) deklariert ist. Das Personal hat dies zwar gesehen aber nicht reagiert, was ziemlich schade und störend war. Zudem hat es einige Fliegen/Käfer im Zimmer gehabt - war zwar nicht schön, aber die kamen von draussen, es hat in dieser Region aussergewöhnlich viele. Das Zimmer war ansonsten perfekt sauber, darum ist es aufgefallen.

Hotel v tichom prostredi , uslužný personal wellness cez vikend preplnený je prístupny aj pre ludi čo nie sú ubytovaný. Hotel nám odmietol vystaviť fakturu za ubytovanie dôvod uviedol taký že nemôžu, lebo platba nešla cez ich zariadenire čo nás nemilo prekvapilo a tento hotel už nenavštivime

Wonderful classic hotel

A classic hôtel with lots of history, we loved our room that was recently renovated and comfortable. Clean, quiet and nice to have a separate bedroom. The main dining room was nice and the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and excellent with a wide choice. We also liked the game room area with the two pool tables. Swimming area should be bigger for the size of the hotel and opening time is rather limited ( from 15:00 to 21:00). Outside parking can be difficult when the hotel is full. We would recommend this hotel to enjoy the old world ambience

Frühstück war sehr gut, von allem genügend vorhanden. Es fehlte nur an Obstsäften. Leider waren die Betten sehr schmal. In diesen Betten habe ich mich nicht wohl gefühlt und nicht den benötigten Schlaf gefunden . Ausserdem konnten wir den Pool leider nicht morgens nutzen. Das ist ein großes Bedauern.
