"The drive up the mountain to Volterra was stunning. Then we arrived and parked in a nearby car park long enough to move our luggage to the hotel. The staff was very helpful showing us where to move the car to park for free. The entrance to the hotel is right in the middle of the historic town. So many shops and restaurants to explore. "When I arrived at the hotel that was booked and confirmed through Expedia, I was told that my reservation had not been booked and that the hotel was full. Luckily the hosts booked me another hotel so that I did not spend the night in my car! I will NEVER use Expedia again since I have already emailed them about this problem and they haven't even gotten back to me!"
