"Rook was very nice. Parking was rather difficult to find convenient spot. Hallways somewhat convoluted. Opened sliding door to beach and in came the flies.... oh well. Had good time."

"The room was nice, clean, modern. However…No buffet breakfast. Desk Phone didn’t work in my room. No ice machine on the 8th floor. One hour later (12pm) check out was an extra charge. No bellhop. Not many restaurants in walking distance. Disappointed."

"Yes, our suite overlooked the beach . Unfortunately, we had no hot water in the suite for most of our stay. We were not offered another suite but was told they were trying to take care of the problem . I would not recommend this resort. "

"While there were areas of the ceiling in our room that had water damage, overall this hotel was super! Bed was very comfortable, room was overall clean, lots of garbage cans, breakfast was terrific, staff was terrific, someone was always cleaning. I would definitely stay there again!"

"The very friendly and helpful staff make the stay! Balconies are semi private but hey you get to meet your neighbor. Indoor pool is heated but the heat could be turned up more. Fresh fruit water in the lobby! Comfy beds and soft towels. "

"What they don’t tell you is that it is forced valet parking as their “garage” is under maintenance! Also am incidental charge per night just a flat retainer for stay. Would not recommend!"

"The room was filthy. Despite the claim of an ocean view, you’d see a parking lot, the backs of people’s houses . There were also numerous flying bugs on the balcony. To make matters worse, I had to switch rooms three times for various reasons, and each time was equally unpleasant. I asked for a full refund without any support from management to ensure that I was treated fairly definitely won’t be returning back to this establishment. "

"We got into Virginia Beach about 1:30 after a 10 hours drive and just wanted to shower and sleep. The room that we where given was under construction the bathroom was a mess. We had to go back to check in. They had no more rooms 😕 in the process of him calling a manager i was looking for other accommodation for my family now its about 2:30am ( with a sleey 3 yr old) at this point the manager calls back and gives us another room . Wasted 2 hours but everything else was perfect. "
