"We were in town for an event and had to stay for a minimum of two nights due to it being Easter weekend as did the other guests at $220 per night which is alot considering it is a basic motel room.
There was a large family that had also booked in and we were very disappointed when one group out of this family was asked to leave because their kids had their cousins over for a swim who weren't staying at the hotel. The kids were well behaved, having fun and not causing any trouble, nor were the family, they even called the police who attended and escorted the calm family off the property. It was an extreme over reaction in our opinion and we did wonder if it were because the family were of a different culture to the people running the resort. "
"We stay in a Triple room for 2 night over the Easter long weekend. We are extremely happy with this motel based on the price they are charging during peak period. Although the condition of the place is pretty old, they managed to keep the place and the room very clean and everything in the room is functional. We are very happy and pleased after all."
"The kitchen was ok. Frying pan hopeless. No real sharp knife. No salt and pepper satchets.
No bedside lamps and no power point in mezzanine bedroom. Trying to get suitcase up the spiral staircase hopeless. Couches are so uncomfortable. Considering room for 6, 9nly couch seating for 4."
"It had lots of amenities like a pool, bouncy and a centre that you can play pool and air hockey, but you might get stuck near a general waste bin inside the tv does work but you need to connect too the internet. The internet pretty good and just outside you can have a nice harbour walk. "
"Chose continental breakfast but the cold pastries were very stale and inedible. Had one piece of toast with jam and an included coffee for $24. Husband chose eggs Benedictine which were good. I wouldn’t choose to purchase breakfast again at the hotel."
