It was very safe and the food was lovely. As ever, there were daily power cuts across Cuba but they made sure to loan me a USB torch and make sure I was okay. Vinales was amazing and I went on a fabulous hike with a guide around the valley.

Our trip here was amazing, absolutely loved Alex and his family and Bruno! The accommodation was super clean and view was amazing. We felt so welcome, they were just awesome. Would recommend. Also very close to lots of places to eat.

Lovely place to relax and unwind! The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. I really enjoyed the pool and the rooftop terrace, a pleasant surprise! I was warmly received by the family, who were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful in all aspects of my stay . This being my first solo trip ever, that meant a lot. The casa is close to the main part of the town, all very walkable . I will definitely be back when I'm in Viniales again.

Casa Lucilo Y Nirma was perfect for our time in Vinales. The room was very comfortable and the house had several nice areas to relax, eat and make plans. The breakfast was delicious and very good value. The Casa is walking distance to the main streets of Vinales and dinning options. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful with arranging activities and travel logistics. Although there was a national power outage during our stay, Casa Nima had private power resources (solar/gas/generator) for guests needs. Casa Nima is a great place for a trip to Vinales and I hope to come again.

My girlfriend and I spend two nights in the lovely House Lucilo y Nirma when visiting Viñales during our stay in Cuba. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished with comfortable beds, air conditioning, fridge and hot water (always available despite the power outages thanks to the kindness of the hosts that setup a power generator for us to take a shower after a long day outside). Alex, Lucilo y Nirma helped us with every need during our stay and beyond, helping us book transfers and experiences. They reached our before our arrival so communication was easy and straightforward. Truly kind and awesome hosts. Highly recommended!!

We booked Casa Lucilo y Nirma for two nights and we are thrilled we did ! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable will all amenities. Gorgeous bathrooms ! The breakfast was the best we had in Cuba and freshly made every morning. The service the family offers is super good: we book airport transfers , excursions and we were given excellent advise on nice places to eat. The atmosphere in the casa is very relaxed and tbe green plants give you an amazing feel of nature. The rooftop terrace is amazing for relaxing over the sunsets. Highly recommended for your Vinales stay !

Awful service. When you arrive, people are seating in front of the house, which is on a mood street, and you have to wait a long time until somebody come to welcome you. The house is very run-down and everybody can see into your room. It looks like a tourist-factory with very badic services. I decided to change and you can easily find much more better in the village.

We had a wonderful time. Newly renovated rooms. It was an oasis full of flowers. They organised a fabulous trip on horseback for the day for us. Bruno, the golden retriever, was a charming companion. Breakfast in the garden offered a good start in the morning. A generator proved extremely useful to bridge power outages.

Our stay was beyond wonderful - the family welcomed us with open arms yet they respected our privacy throughout our stay! We absolutely loved the comfort and decor of our room- very high standard for Cuba! The terraces are very green and ideal for relaxing. The rooftop terrace overlooks the mogotes and it is also really relaxing after our days of sightseeing. We booked our tours and restaurants with them and could not be happier- it is a must to follow their advise as for local things to do ! The family organized our transfers to and from Havana - really nice car professional drivers ! The breakfasts were out of the world - freshly made and very diverse! We can only highly recommend this little gem in Vinales ❤️

Staying at Casa Lucilo y Nirmo offered us a true taste of Cuba. It was perfect from start to finish - the rooms were clean and perfect, sitting on the terrace at the front enabled us to watch the community and the world go by. The family are so friendly and will help you with anything you need even though they don't speak English. If we came back to Vinales I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The powercuts can be challenging but this is across Cuba so you must be prepared for this - especially for AC during the evening.

We had a great stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma and their cute dog Bruno. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 weeks holiday in Cuba. The family is very friendly and smiley and they definitely made our stay in Vinales even better. Only minus is that the wifi was not working during our entire stay there but other than that, we really enjoyed everything especially the rooftop garden.

This charming casa was immaculate. I was struck immediately with the lovely courtyard filled with tropical plants. The family and staff were so welcoming and helpful, organizing transportation and assisting with different activities. I loved my stay in Vinales, and this accommodation really set the tone for a fabulous visit!

Fabulous stay with the sweetest owners. The casa is centrally located but still in a very peaceful neighborhood- extremely safe. The rooms were spectacular with lovely touches and en-suite bathrooms. Lucilo and Nirma were very proactive and helped us plan of stay - it did make the difference! The activities and sights they recommended were top! We particularly loved the sunsets at the rooftop and being able to pet the cute pet they have called Bruno :) Lastly , the casa can arrange your rides to and from Vinales which is very convenient ! Thank you for an amazing stay !

I had a lovely stay. Everyone is super nice and super helpful. The family organised all my taxis and tours and even my restaurant reservation at Paradisi (?) fir sunset for me, and made everything easy. The casa has plenty of outside space in the courtyard and up on the first floor terrace and deck to spread out. And not forgetting Bruno, the lovely friendliest lab.

We stayed at Casa Lucilo y Nirma during our round trip through Cuba and this was definitely our best experience! We were welcomed with open arms and felt at home at the casa. The room was provided with an amazing bathroom and airconditioning and we even got an extra ventilator during our stay! Every morning a lovely freshly made breakfast was provided and we got some great help from the family with some day trips like horse riding and a trip to an amazing beach called Cayo Jutias. The casa is located very close to the main street with some amazing restaurants! Furthermore, the roof terrace with small pool didn’t disappoint! The roof terrace had a 360° view around the Viñales valley which was amazing and the pool was great to cool down after a hot day on the horses. :) Thank you for the good care, would recommend it to everybody!

Our stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma has been the highlight of our Cuba trip ! The hosts are incredibly helpful and always in the best disposition to assist - they went out of their way to help us in any way - this is highly appreciated when traveling in a foreign country. The room we booked surpassed our expectations, beautifully furnished with great taste, fully equipped with A/C and minbar and confortable double beds and plenty of natural light. We did have the best sleep quality in our trip here. The terraces are lush and peaceful- little green spaces that we loved. Breakfasts were amazing , freshly made every morning and very diverse . We looked forward to breakfast every morning :) We can only highly recommend this casa , a hidden gem in a fantastic location in Vinales!

Absolutely the best casa in Vinales! A mix of local vibes with a touch of luxury :)The hosts are very authentic, kind, friendly , welcoming and proactive towards their guests needs and comfort! Alex, the main host, can design local experiences that will create fond memories of your stay in Vinales ! The entire home & rooms are tastefully decorated ,impeccably clean and super comfortable. Ensuite private bathrooms are one of the best added values. Breakfasts are amazing, freshly made every morning & so rich & diverse. The new rooftop terrace has a gorgeous pool and stunning mogote views - the peace and tranquility from there over sunsets is unbeatable ! The Wi-Fi does work optimally and the staff is always there to look after your needs. Do yourself a favor and stay here! You will not regret it!

Unfortunately we did not stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma - on arrival the host explained that he had a family emergency and that we would be accommodated at his friends casa. Incidentally, another couple arrived on day 2 of our stay who had also booked at Casa Lucilo y Nirma and been relocated & told due to a broken shower. Regardless, the casa we did stay at was very nice, clean & comfortable. The host at Casa Lucilo y Nirma had offered me a tea when he learned I was unwell & came over to refund our final nights stay promptly when we decided to leave Vinales a day early.

We can only highly recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma ! Once we checked in, they warmly greeted us and set the tone for a perfect stay ! Lucilo y Nirma are extremely helpful , attentive, caring and go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. We based our entire stay on their tour recommendations and local venues to eat and drink. The sunrise hike and the horse trip were our of this world-such an authentic way to explore the valleys and wild nature of Vinales! They also recommended local restaurants and each time we were speechless - restaurant to catch one of the most gorgeous sunsets in the island and another resto with idilic views nestled in the heart of Valle de Vinales. The rooftop terrace is just gorgeous , such an added value to the casa- it is ideal to freshen up after our days exploring. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable , with ensuite luxury bathroom and A/C. Rooms are very safe and are also peaceful to sleep and relax. The breakfasts are very tasty and diverse , plenty of fruits and freshly made every morning! Transportation arrangements are available -the family can get you anywhere in Cuba, comfortably ! Best place to stay in town!
