" The rooms are a nice size. Staff speak English well. Beds were comfortable. Ate at restaurant. The breakfast was good. Dinner has a good menu and food is good. The location is close to the old town core, Plaza de Armas. You can walk it, subway or take a taxi/ride share from the hotel location for a minimal cost. The taxi, what we used, was $15.00 Canadian the subway now accepts foreign credit cards for purchase of subway tickets that started in March, 2026"

"Staff were very helpful and accommodating especially Tanya. Spoke English very well and assisted us with tours and transport. We stayed here on three separate occasions during our visit to Chile. The rooms were very clean although some were a little run down-floor boards separating, slow sink in one room and a poor toilet flush in another. The hotel is well located to metro and major thoroughfares although the area a bit transitional with beautifully restored old buildings and dilapidated Ones side by side. Morning breakfast was very good- including cooked eggs to suit. "

"The area this hotel is located in is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Just outside, my phone was stolen out of my hand by a man in a motorcycle riding on the sidewalk. Next day, two men attempted to kidnap my teenage daughter. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS AREA. Both incidents happened in broad daylight. Santiago overall according to the locals is a very dangerous city, and this part of town is on the extreme danger zones. "
