"This was an absolute perfect stay with my family after a long day of traveling. The chateau was worth to deviate a bit from our route. Perfectly quiet and a nice swimming pool available. The room was spacious, clean and airconditioned. Lot of privacy. Philippe and wife are very kind and hospitable."

"A very grand building in the centre of Loches. I have never failed to get a parking space in the public car park (free) opposite. Lovely staff, beautifully clean, big comfortable bed, huge shower, 3 minutes walk to the beautiful old town and it's shops, bars and restaurants."

"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

"Good choice for exploring the Loire valley, chateaux, town and cities. Loches is a vibrant town with lots of shops and bars. There is a train station right by the residence if you need to get around and don't have a car."

"The area around the property is an old town that has seen better days. Some properties have been restored beautifully and there is some amazing medieval architecture. Very close by is free, convenient parking and the area felt very safe. The patron is charming and helpful and the owner of a nearby excellent restaurant, serving wonderful food. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was continental and more than adequate."
