Der Empfang war freundlich zuvorkommend. Ein Parkplatz für den Gepäckumschlag befindet sich gleich beim Eingang. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze sind gleich vis à vis des Hotels. Das Zimmer (Conmfort) war klein aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Da es sich um einen Altbau handelt, ist der Boden etwas schief, was zur Folge hat, dass der Kopf beim Bett tiefer liegt als die Füsse. Ein Kühlschrank (ohne Inhalt) war da aber nicht in Betrieb und konnte auch nicht angeschlossen werden. Die Sauberkeit war insgesamt OK, lässt aber da und dort zu wünschen übrig. Eine dicke Staubschicht umfasste das Kabel des Föhns im Badezimmer. Eine ebenfalls dicke Staubschicht schmückte den TV (nur franz. Programme). Das liesse sich durchaus mit minimalem Aufwand besser machen. Das Restaurant des Hotels bietet eine kleine, exquisite Karte mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Das Angebot entspricht in Qualität, Geschmack und Präsentation der gehobenen Küche – ein tolles Erlebnis und seinen Preis wert. Das Früstücksbuffet war wiederum durchschnittlich und widerspiegelt in keiner Weise, die gehobene Abendküche. Die vorzüglichen Hartwürste lassen sich mit dem vorhandenen Werkzeug nicht schneiden. Eier waren lediglich in Form von Rührei vorhanden und die laute Saftpresse, sollte entsorgt werden. Für uns passt das Restaurant nicht mit der Hotellerie zusammen. Das wirkt unharmonisch und etwas befremdlich.

Arrivée un lundi soir 21H , pas d’accueil à l’hôtel mais un numéro à appeler pour obtenir un code d’entrée. Numéro injoignable…. à 21h40 je réussis enfin à pénétrer dans l’hôtel avec un autre client . Des clés attendent leur client sur une table dans l’entrée mais malheureusement pas la mienne . Numéro toujours injoignable… Je décide de m’installer dans une chambre vide. La propreté est plus que limite , le ménage a été fait mais en surface seulement …. Poils dans l’évier restant dû précédent locataire, cheveux et poils de … dans les toilettes. J’ai fréquenté cet hôtel il y a quelques années et grosse déception aujourd’hui

Achtung: Reception nur beschränkt offen

Hotel/Ort sind ideal gelegen für Ausflüge am oder auf dem Doubs (Anlegestelle der Schiffe gleich nebenan). Zimmer war schön und gross - leider ist die vorbeiführende Strasse auch in der Nacht stark befahren. Achtung: wenn man knapp vor Ankunft bucht, kann es sein dass die Reception die Buchung nicht mehr sieht und dann kein Schlüssel bereit liegt.

Gut gebettet im Le France

Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer sind sauber gereinigt, das Bad sogar relativ neu renoviert (und erfreulich grosszügig geschnitten) und das Bett angenehm hart aber dennoch bequem. Das Hotel ist ein Traditionshaus, das immer wieder sanft an die Bedürfnisse der Zeit angepasst wurde, aber dennoch nicht total saniert wurde, wodurch der Charakter des Hauses erhalten blieb. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Da ich an einem Sonntag anreiste, war die Rezeption unbesetzt, doch mittels eines Codes konnte ich dennoch ins Haus und mein Zimmer beziehen. Leider war auch das Restaurant geschlossen, was den COVID19 Umständen geschuldet war. Schade, denn die Karte machte jedenfalls einen sehr einladenden Eindruck! In der Ortschaft selbst findet man in der Nähe einige Restaurants, eine Bäckerei und andere Läden, so dass man sich auch gut selbst mit allem Notwendigen versorgen kann. Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt im Le France zufrieden und kann das Haus entsprechend empfehlen.

Ein guter Logis de France

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Doubs und in nächster Nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider hat der Fluss bei grosser Hitze nur sehr wenig Wasser geführt. Das Restaurant und der Service kann man eher als gehobenen bezeichnen. Sehr gute Küche sodass wir schon bald wieder kommen. Parkplätze sind auch genügend gleich gegenüber dem Hotel vorhanden.

Une belle adresse

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet établissement. Nous assistions le Festival de Musique Galitzine à Villers le Lac. Dans les environs, on peut visiter le saut du Doubs. Personnel attentionné, lieu charmant, excellente table

Sejour charmant et très...Doubs !!

Très contents de notre séjour malgré un carrefour et des routes tres fréquentés et bruyants autour de l'hôtel. Heureusement compensé par des chambres et fenêtres isolantes. Personnel sympathique et discret . Cuisine innovante et raffinée.

Chambre agréable mais donnant sur une rue très passante, non climatisée donc nécessité de l'ouvrir pour avoir de l'air et donc beaucoup de bruits de circulation jusqu'à tard le soir et très tôt le lendemain (circulation des frontaliers). Restaurant excellent et personnel aux petits soins.

Bonjour , C`est vraiment la première fois que j`ai super bien dormis la première nuit dans un Hôtel, malgré que cette Hôtel se situ au centre d`une localité. Le repas du soir très original. La seul chose : il n`y a pas de air conditionné dans la chambre , se que nous avons regretté car nous étions a la période de la grande canicule!

Chambre propre, excellent petit-déj, mais...

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel, à une semaine d'intervalle. Arrivée tardive le permier soir mais on nous attendait, pas de souci. Chambre mal insonorisée, nous entendions le voisin ronfler... heureusement cela ne s'est pas reproduit la 2e nuit. Superbe buffet petit-déjeuner. Une déception: l'hôtel propose une série de produits du terroir, nous avions passé commande en partant après la 1re nuit afin d'être certains d'avoir tout ce qu'il fallait à notre second passage, mais cela n'a pas été communiqué et il n'y avait plus les produits souhaités :-(

Excellente étape gastronomique

A recommander à tous points de vues :Hotel ancien mais très bien rénové. Chambres confortables et chaleureuses. Prix raisonnables. Accueil parfait. Salle de restaurant très agréable - service parfait mais surtout une cuisine raffinée, recherchée et originale. Digne de sa 1 étoile au michelin si ce n'est plus. y reviendront sûrement.
