"Clean place. Nice people.
The only thing is the address that hotels.com has registered.
This is the real address
Calle Mayor, 48, 30529 Cañada del Trigo, Murcia, Spain
It's 45 min north of Muecia.
Make sure you know this is is Cañada del Trigo.
There's a claim this is not refundable for any reason.

"Beautiful hotel out in the quiet countryside, very peaceful unless they are having an event ( they do weddings) but these are nice affairs and it’s nice to see how the Spanish do weddings.
But after 1100am all quite so well controlled by the hotel.
This really is a unique and quite divine hotel, we stayed in the main building with our Dogs but you can stay in one of the eight chalet time apartments they have on the grounds which looked beautiful with fantastic views to all sides.
Menu typically Spanish but all very good.
Worth a visit if you want piece and quiet and especially if you have a dog(s)

"Loved the property. The website does definitely state its rural, so it warns you, but it does also mention that its just 2 buses from Alicante airport, and fails to mention the one hour and 10 minute walk from castalla to the hotel. Totally worth it, beautiful hotel to set up a retreat for yourself for a couple days, but people might struggle in the heat woth the walk if planning on taking buses"
"We had a memorable stay at this historical castle that has been sympathetically renovated. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very stylishly rustic. There is a nice good sized swimming pool with plenty of good quality sun loungers. The surrounding land is pretty and peaceful. There aren't many staff but the hotel operates an honesty type service for drinks (you take drinks from the bar and put your room number to be charged on checkout. The prices are reasonable). The breakfast is included and the selection is tasty with some daily variation. Dinner in the restaurant is recommended. The menu is changable every day and is a nice surprise from the owner who is an excellent chef. The presentation and taste are outstanding
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back again in the future."
"Was absolutely beautiful amazing staff very helpful perfect place to relax . However It is of the beating track so would recommend having your own form of transport or use wiki lock for local foot paths "
