"I think my stay would have been better if the farmers strike was not happening shutting down some road access. The strike limited my ability to get around effectively making the location not as ideal for my business. WiFi did not work first 2 days, but they gave me a conference room with hard line for free and were attentive to all my requests. Good location for business access, but not ideal for vacationing as it is a bit far from the city center."

"We stayed for 5 nights and could only praise everything about our stay. The excellent spacious car parking was such a bonus when exploring this lovely city on foot. Most of all it was the staff who made our stay so pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble (booking taxis etc.) The housekeeping girls did such an excellent job...faultless. The breakfast buffet was second to none. One suggestion-load your Kindle before arrival as the hotel hotspot does not support a connection."

"It took us a few winding roads to get to Hotel Helianthe, but it was well worth it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The rooms, while not huge, accompanied a nice sized bathroom. All accommodations were very clean. The Hotel was walkable to the many sites of Lourdes. The breakfast in the morning had many options at their self serve buffet. I would highly recommend Hotel Helianthe and their staff!!"

"Great location. Beach view is superb. Our room has balcony and its nice to stay outside and watch people surf. Literally the hotel is across the beach. The back entrance leads to shopping area and restaurants. Walking to old town is convenient. Staff are all friendly and accomodating. "The owner provided outstanding service for us. We were unable to use our US credit cards at the gas station and he offered to drive with us to a station and use his card and we paid him for the gas. Don’t be put off by the fact that reception for check in closes at 9; the automated kiosk was very easy to use. The rooms and breakfast are basic but fine for an overnight stop. "
