"A truly wonderful stay – we didn’t want to leave! We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Conversas de Alpendre, and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found somewhere very special. The staff were absolutely amazing and could not have done more for us. The level of personal service was exceptional — they remembered our names, our preferences and the little things we liked, which made us feel incredibly welcome and looked after throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent, and the whole property has such a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity. If you are looking for somewhere to genuinely switch off, rest and relax, this is the place. The pool is fantastic — a really good size and, importantly, large enough to actually swim in rather than the small hotel pools you often find. It was a real pleasure to spend time there. And then there are the views… absolutely stunning. Looking out across the carob tree forest towards the sea is simply beautiful and gives the whole place such a feeling of space and serenity."

"Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. No bar Pool very small Shame there are no other boarding options. Fortunately some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was on the 6th floor with a very big balcony, shame about the birds and their mess daily so not welcoming."

"This was my second solo week at this hotel and I was more than happy with my return visit. The hotel is spacious and welcoming with very well kept gardens. The room I had was again spacious and clean. The food is incredible with many different things to try at each meal; this was one of the main attractions luring me back to the hotel from last year! The pool is clean and family friendly without being too loud. The staff are very friendly without being ‘in your face’ which I found perfect. The road train down to the beach is a lovely trip where you can see avocados growing on the trees as well as typical citrus fruit of the region."

"Clean comfortable apartment with friendly interactions with all the staff, cleaning staff so helpful, what a wonderful environment that we hope to return to for a longer stay another year, the small towns nearby offered the true Portugese experience and not the hectic tourist push that is unfortunately happening in other areas of the Algarve "
