"Super site. Tout respire la détente et que dire de la vue sur le Douro et les montagnes. Les habitations sont en palier cela peut être incommodant pou les déplacements. Seul point négatif le souper buffet. Premièrement rien n’est paisible puisque c’a parle fort. Dans notre cas il y avait des groupes. Heureusement nous avons pu manger dehors. Notre réservation était à 21:30. Il manquait plusieurs choses dans le buffet dont de la salade qui n’a jamais été ajouté. Les aliments chaud étaient froids et la viande et poisson trop cuit. Bref décevant pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. J’ai signifié mon mécontentement à l’hôte de la salle qui m’a répondu qu’il ferait le commentaire au chef!!!! Au Check out j’ai discuté avec la personne responsable et il a fait une relance devant moi au restaurant pour mon insatisfaction et m’a annulé les frais des repas du buffet. Merci à l’hôtel de considérer nos commentaires et plaintes. Clairement que cela est à corriger. Sinon tout était parfait. Adresse à retenir"

"The place was really quiet and the view was stunning. The breakfast was really good as well with most food being locally sourced. The Panoramic Villa was nice, there was a bit of a misunderstanding at first when the host showed us the Villa but was resolved afterwards. Also the shower seemed to be stucked to really hot temperature but adding a little force to the other side of the fosset did fix it to more reasonable temperatures."

"The place was just amazing. The views from all around the property is spectacular. The staff took such good care of us. We went for our 24th year wedding anniversary and we were given some Port wine and a bottle at the end of our stay. The people were all great. The included breakfast is so good. And the suppers were just as great. There is very little light pollution that at night we were able to see the milky way galaxy. We had a magical stay and thank you so much to the staff."

"Breakfast is included but if you want to have diner there, it is better contact them ahead. Otherwise, alternatives could be quite far. Food is excellent. Wine too. I strongly recommend eating at the Quinta."

"We had a wonderful stay at Quinta de São Luiz. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. Everything about the experience was special, from the setting and character of the quinta to the warm hospitality. It was the perfect place to slow down after several days in Porto. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Breakfast had a range of delicious options and the dining was delicious and upscale. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience in the Douro!"

"This is a stunning property set in the hills of the Douro. Incredible views and very peaceful.Friendly staff and a very nice cold breakfast included. There were scrambled eggs available. Part of the charm is that you are off the beaten track but if you are not going for dinner in the village then bring your own snacks."

"One of the best views from our hotel I’ve ever been. The room was clean, comfortable and accommodated the two of us and our two young kids just fine. Pool was fantastic and the onsite breakfast was a nice touch. There’s not a ton of dining options in the village so be prepared to eat onsite or drive out a fair distance to find something for dinner. Breakfast is served onsite which is great. Only recommendation would be a coffee maker in the room but other than that, stunning location and enjoyable stay. Would stay again."
