"We were very disappointed with our stay. We specifically paid extra for a room with a patio because we were traveling with our toddler and wanted a comfortable space to relax together after she went to bed. Unfortunately, the hotel oversold rooms and moved us into a lower-category room for half of our stay. While they offered a small credit, it did not make up for the inconvenience or the impact it had on our trip. We were also told the hotel offered childcare services for an additional fee, which turned out to be false. At that point we still tried to stay positive and make the best of the situation. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The room they placed us in was directly next to parties that continued until around 1 AM both nights. We barely slept. When we were finally moved to another room, that room had water leaking from the ceiling and the coffee maker was also leaking. We reported both issues to the front desk and were only told “sorry,” with no effort made to fix the problems. Beyond our room issues, the property itself appeared poorly maintained. Pool tiles were falling off and some drain covers were broken, which raised safety concerns. Employees even told us the hotel is expected to close in a few months for renovations. If a hotel is no longer able to provide a safe, properly maintained, and quality experience for guests, it should not continue accepting reservations in its current condition. This stay was extremely frustrating and far below expectations."
