Charming hotel with nice touches like a record player in the room. Staff was lovely, the room was nice, big and clean. It was very quiet and the beds were super comfortable. Would recommend.

Hotel was like stepping into a Wes Anderson movie! I love it - my wife less so. It’s an acquired taste. Hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming, although some aspects of the decor could do with some updating. Staff were amazing as was the breakfast and restaurant.

Good value for money property. Considerably cheaper than hotels in Innes Stadt and Weina. Easy access to public transport, around 15 minutes into city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room a bit to sleep in at night but otherwise great.

It was a good stay. Quiet area, comfortable bed, cool design. Taking a star off for the absence of a mini fridge and a coffee maker. No complimentary coffee in the lobby either. If coffee is not a must for you- book it!

We found the Max Brown to be a great, budget-friendly option for staying slightly further out of town. The Neubau area has good options for cafes and restaurants, and the hotel itself is situated within walking distance of different tram lines into and out of town making it very easy to be in the centre within 20 minutes. We didn't try the restuarant but we went for a drink in the bar on one evening, it was very busy and the staff struggled to accomodate us even for one drink, which was slightly disappointing but hopefully a sign that it's a popular, well-liked place.

My stay was very pleasant, the staff was so nice. Breakfast was great! The hotel is at an artsy district in vienna and very well connected. It was an 8 minute or so walk to public transport. I enjoyed my stay and would def. Prefer this hotel again

Great hotel! Staff were kind and helpful. Rooms were tasteful and cool decor and beds were comfortable! The food at the Restaurant Hotel was phenomenal. All around really great stay.

This is a great hotel in a great location in Vienna, I would definitely recommend it overall. Some stand out positives: - Great service at check in, I especially appreciated that the staff member checking me in didn't say my room number out loud when I was travelling alone. - Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. - I had breakfast in the hotel two mornings and both mornings it was delicious, definitely worth considering. - The hotel is in a great location, it's on a quiet street so no excessive passing noise and you could walk into Inner Stadt or use multiple methods of public transport to get there. Some minor things that prevented me giving 5 stars: - One of the plug points in the room wasn't working - TV in the room only had three working channels, all in German which I understand it is a German speaking country. However I also tried to mirror the tv to my phone which wouldn't work and the TV had no other ability to connect to any other apps like netflix, disney using my own sign in. This was pretty disappointing for such a modern hotel. - On the day the room was cleaned the cups and glasses in the room weren't changed, when you have no real ability to properly wash cups in a room I think they should be changed after 2 days.

Lovely style of interior . Very special . I called it mix loft and hippy. In the room you have vinyl disc player! Discs are provided. Extremely delicious food in the restaurant downstairs. You need to make a booking there ideally.

This hotel and it's location are great. My gripe about the cleanliness of the room I hope is noted as it's the only let down. The staff here were fabulous and kind. The location was just far enough away from maddening crowds but easy enough to get to if you wanted to.

Great Hotel & restaurant

Loved this hotel. Spacious room, comfy bed, nice linen and quirky decor. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great location: 10 min walk to Museum Quarter, and easy access to great public transport system. We booked dinner at the Restaurant and the food was gorgeous. It’s understandably popular so make sure you book. Highly recommend
