It was the best hostel experience ever! Clean, affordable. I felt very safe, also social activities were a lot so that I never felt bored. Hostel staff were really helpfull, also breakfast was delicious. It is at the center right next to metro, so transportation was very easy. I definitely recomend this hostel as a female solo traveller!

Buffet breakfast was really good!! Room was really nice and warm, beds very comfy and super clean. The staff were very polite and helpful- even when there were some loud guests they sorted it out very fast. The common room area is really nice and kitchen has everything you need like a kettle and microwave (no stove though!!). Perfect for young female solo travellers- I met some great people :)

My review is mixed. What I did not like was the very loud noise coming from the party at the rooftop. Also I do not understand why the bottom bunks have curtains and everything and top has nothing. Whenever someone not caring, enters the room and puts the lights on (which was the case) you are instantly blasted with light in the face and awaken. The food I can not say as I did not eat in house. With all the gadgets and details that are used in the hostel, at least the locks for the drawers could have been solved better. Not beign explaind that you need to bring or buy a lock to secure your belongings is quite a miss considering the cards for the entrance in the rokm or the elevator. Maybe locks with the same card? I like the enterier of the whole place and the great positioning of the hostel to the transport and some of the main sightseeing places. Also the view from the rooftop is amazing. Murals are great too.

There is a big choice if you need to shop and if you need to wash clothing a laudromat 1 ride on the streetcar or a 15 minute walk This is a fabulous hostel located in a convenient area with a choice of transport options, great vibe and really helpful staff I am happy that I chose to stay there.

We like Jo&Joe because: - it is at a convenient location. Just next to the train station and many shops and eateries nearby - the room and toilet is very clean - clear instructions are given about check-in and how to locate the place As we reserved a family room with attached toilet, it would be good for Jo&Joe to provide a hairdryer for such room type. The reception informed that all hairdryers were loaned out and not sure when they would be returned.
