Staff was pleasant. Room and hotel clean, but aesthetically it is an older hotel. The continental breakfast was limited, meaning not enough food for the guests. Hotel staff stated their vendor had not arrived and they only had limited amount to make for a Saturday morning. My opinion, you should be sure you are stocked up on supplies for a weekend. Then the vending machines were both empty. No snacks or drinks available on either floor. Those also need to be sure they are stocked up. It would also be helpful to have new machines installed that take a debit/credit card as most people do not travel with cash anymore.

It property is always clean the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is lacking but it is free so I won’t complain. This is the best hotel in Edna. The pool is empty so no swimming. Dairy Queen and Whataburger is next door so eating is easy.

Was disappointed the pool and hot tub were unusable, they had no water in them. Everything else was great! Had a king size bed room which had a hide-a-bed coach, desk & chair, refrigerator and microwave, and it had a ceiling fan over the bed, very nice to have since we have one at home, we like the air circualtion.

I had to travel to the area for a funeral and booking online was super easy, pay up on arrival. The staff was friendly and room was clean. The building is extremely old and outdated and the shower faucet didn't get cold whatsoever but stayed on extremely hot. The breakfast bar wasn't much at all compared to other best westerns I've stayed in the past but overall a nice stay

Building was pretty; room was nice & bathroom clean. Had asked for first floor room at booking; got a second floor room. Keys would not work to open room door so mgr had to come open door. Suggestion on bathroom light; fan comes on with the light. If you want the bathroom light on at night, so you can see where you’re going, the fan coming on, too, makes too much noise. Might want to give each feature their own switch.

Extremely rude woman on staff to check us in. After 9 hour drive to get there (to see my mother in hospital) we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. When i mentiomed we had been there waiting for quite some time waiting for a staff memember, her response was " I ha e other guests staying here too, ya know." Clearly not someone who should be employed in the hospitality industry. I booked the room about 1.5 -2 weeks in advance for 3 people in a room with 2 doible beds. Yet, there were toiletries for just 1 person and there was an old, used coffee filter in the coffee pot. Unacceptable!
