"From start to finish the staff at Courtney Lodge were all exceptional.
Whether arranging transportation, advising on restaurants (although the on-site is also very good) or just having a chat, they were all amazing.
Rooms were excellent and the meals were all superb.
100% a place we would stay again and recommend."
"This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Just being next to one of Africa’s great rivers, The Zambezi, makes it a destination resort unto itself. The star of our stay was Chulita. She made our stay and experiences unforgettable. She is a star! Thank you Chulita for a truly extraordinary adventure!"
"The property was very nice and staff friendly. The service at the restaurants was very slow and wait staff seemed overwhelmed by simple orders or requests. The rooms were nice but small."
"Very nice place - with the spirit of backpackers. Nice swimming pool. At walking distance from VicFalls, restaurants. We were very satisfied of our stay. Thay also handled to find and pay the taxi for transfert from Botswana and to the airport. Some stained (although clean) sheets make that we do not rate it 5."

"A boutique and very personal (only 3 year old) hotel a little outside the main Victoria Falls town. Offers regular free shuttle into town and down to Vic Falls Entrance. Outside the designated times, you have to book taxis but the hotel have an account with reliable supplier. We had the larger signature room which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Staff are very helpful. Cooked breakfasts are good. Only slight criticism is that dinner can be quite slow and it’s best to go for the fresh cooked grills."
"The room was clean and everything worked well. The place is small and I never saw anyone in the bar. (Not an issue for us). Rooms are pretty small as well. Breakfast was cereal, fruit and eggs cooked to your liking as well as sausage, bacon and beans. -So, a nice breakfast. Extra person in the room was very tight and cost $70/night. So, that was a little expensive. It's a small town, so everything is close. But fairly far for walking. Use InDrive as a ride hailing app and anywhere you want to go will end up costing you $3 each way."
"had a wonderful stay at Waterfalls Lodge and genuinely enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the service was excellent, and the overall experience was one I would happily recommend to others.
A very special shout-out to Marzi, who was absolutely exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after. Her attitude and level of service really stood out to me.
Honestly, Marzi is the best of the best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She is a real asset to Waterfalls Lodge and deserves to be recognised and appreciated for the excellent service.
Thank you, Waterfalls Lodge, for a great stay and thank you Marzi."
"The location is perfect. We seen elephants, striped mongoose, and wart hogs on the property. Baboons across the street. Located next to shopping and a few restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa services were also good. I highly recommend this resort. I would definitely stay here again."
"These are great value apartments but these few are run independently of Miomba Mews so the breakfast is only available at one of the venues listed. This could be a bit clearer.
The apartments are great - very clean with most of what you need. Lamps could do with the correct plug on them (bedroom!) and a few utensils are broken or missing but apart from that, they are very spacious and comfortable and we felt very safe there due to the 24 hour security and high walls etc. Anna was also very kind to store our luggage so we could visit Zambia for the night. Be sure to ask for 12A/B as 6B was extremely noisy from the street when we changed after our night away (maybe as it was a Saturday?). Would recommend if you want to save a bit on eating out. Grab food from the Pick n’ Pay on the way from the airport."
"The only reason I cannot give this a 10 out of five dollar review is because the Plumbing bedroom needed new fixtures and hot water was very limited.
This could be an isolated incident because otherwise the place was magical. Breakfast is good, check-in was easy, everyone was nice. It was super clean in the grounds well-maintained. Location was 10 out of 10. Bar staff excellent."
"My wife, son, and I had an excellent and memorable stay here. Our room was spotlessly clean, thanks to the fantastic housekeeping team, and the showers were incredible—it felt just like standing under Victoria Falls! The food was great, particularly the breakfasts and the poolside restaurant. However, I would have loved to see more local Zambian dishes on the standard restaurant menu. That said, the evening cultural show was a highlight, offering a wonderful display of Zambian culture alongside delicious traditional food. The hotel’s location is unbeatable; we easily walked to Victoria Falls three times and even took a day trip across the border. Additionally, the staff was highly helpful in arranging our airport transfers and excursions.
Another highlight is the animals roaming around. It's quite the experience to be lounging by the pool and have a giraffe standing next to you. Or looking out your window to see baboons or zebras.
We would definitely return."
