"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"What a stunning spot to view the rolling countryside full of vineyards and olive groves. Well appointed, spacious room with a super comfy bed and pillows, kettle, large bathroom and picturesque views from the window. A delicious breakfast with house made coffee and the host, Helena, really goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend."

"We just spent 4 nights at this hotel and absolutely adored it. The breakfasts were exceptional, the rooms were clean, a very nice size and very well appointed and the staff so friendly and helpful. There was ample parking and lots of restaurants nearby. The town itself was dreamy. Many of the homes are covered in flowers and plants. Not touristy like many of the towns that we have visited and extremely walkable. My husband loved taking a dip in the pool every afternoon and every time we walked outside the flowers on the linden trees all over the town filled the air with the best smell . We both did not want to leave. What a special place."

"This is one of the most beautiful properties in one of the most beautiful little towns off the beaten path we have come across in our extensive travels around Italy. The property is brand new and beautifully designed and decorated with distinctive finishes and furnishings throughout the location is incredible right at the base of the town of Monteleone. The town of Pieve is only a 10 minute drive away both are incredible and worth visiting as is Orvieto. We were most impressed by Front Desk Staff, Member, Anna, who level of professionalism and service was beyond that we’ve encountered in many five star Plus properties. Highly recommend this property as a base to explore the beautiful region of Umbria."

"Our train was late and the front desk staff, Alessia stayed late just to let us check in. It was very kind and went above and beyond! She also arranged transport from train to hotel which was super helpful due to the train’s late arrival. The breakfast was also very good with some hot selections and cold and fresh fruit. The room was very clean and well maintained with good air conditioning during the hot weather. Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel which had great walking access to the major attractions. Orvieto is a lovely town!"
