Incredible space

Limehome La Vigna, is an amazing place to stay in Verona. Three block to the river and the historic center, an plenty of space to be confortable with family. The balcony inside is covered with a magnificent (probably centuries old) grape vine, but the space has been fully renovated to your comfort.

The property was very clean and spacious with towels and soap as well as coffee pods. The balcony vines needed some trimming to make it a better place to sit. The location was excellent to walk to all the important sights. We also walked there from the train station in about 30min. Our only issue was mid-day of our only full day we got locked out of our room. The door operates by code and ours failed. Long story short, we waited in the hall for over 2 hours for someone to let us in, but then we couldn't leave because it hadn't been repaired. So it took another 2+ hours dealing with the property and Expedia to find us another room somewhere else. It all worked out but we lost the 2nd half of our day to tour around so that was very disappointing. Our new hotel was too far away to walk anywhere. However the property and Expedia worked together to refund our lost night and paid for our new room and taxi fare to get there.

It was a lovely well maintained apartment with plenty of space. The views outside the windows and shutter blinds were lovely and the property was very quiet. Also very close to main parts of Verona although road itself was a tiny bit run down. The lift at the apartments was bit slow.

The unit was very clean and fully furnished. It had laundry as well, which was excellent. The only issue for us was difficulty of finding parking spot in the alley. If you have toddlers, make sure to consider a lower level unit, as stairs to second floor are not super safe for toddlers. Otherwise, this was an excellent unit, and seemed to have been renovated recently.

Fantastic place to stay in. Very modern with all amenities needed and supplied (dishes towels washing machine and detergent). Private location 10 minute walk to downtown Verona. 10/10 Would recommend!

Difficult to access, no view, lots of rubbish outside, common area for laundry and garbage, one ac for the whole apartment that hardy worked and difficult to interact with the company. It’s all by mail, which is not convinient while travelling

This hotel was not accessible at all, and it was not posted on the website therefore false advertising is displayed. It caused me much suffering at top dollar.
In front of hotel, never ending massive construction, which was not disclosed on the booking. Completely inaccessible, except for a very narrow sidewalk had to be done seven blocks away downhill.
Not even the taxi could get to the property. This is not a hotel. It is an apartment and I never saw a person responsible. Only the maid coming in the morning, telling me to wash the dishes so she would have to do less work.

do not stay with this company. The customer service is awful. God forbid anything goes wrong, they will not help. The washing machine in the apartment was broken which I stated on the first day. They said they would send someone the next day which they did but this person did absolutely nothing. I came back to the washing machine still broken and no update or communication from them. When I reached out, they weren’t even aware anyone had come. Terrible communication and waste of money. Would never book with them again

Over the course of just three days, I was locked out of my room every single day, which is unacceptable by any standard. I was even moved to three different rooms during my stay—an utterly chaotic and stressful ordeal that ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. The situation reached a breaking point on my final night when I was completely locked out of Room 202. The lock was so defective that a locksmith had to destroy the door to get it open—only managing to let me back in at midnight. By then, hours of my time had been wasted, I had missed planned activities I had paid for, and I was in physical discomfort due to illness and period pain. I urgently needed access to my medication and a safe space to rest, and instead I was forced to wait around and chase support teams for four hours. To make matters worse, the remote support I contacted was inconsistent—some staff were unhelpful and gave incorrect instructions, adding to the confusion and distress. It was only after hours of persistence that someone finally assisted in resolving the issue. This experience was not only incredibly stressful and disruptive, but it also caused significant financial loss and physical discomfort. I cannot overstate how this affected me—it genuinely ruined my entire trip to Verona. DO NOT EVEN RISK STAYING IN LIMEHOUSE. It is not worth the stress. if you booked a room, just leave and stay elsewhere. I have all the documentation and pictures to prove this horrible experience.
The code did not work and the doorknob is so hard to use. it is a door, it should just open when you unlock it. there shouldn't be a special technique to open it. It is fundamentally flawed if you need a technique to open a door.
Despite all that I have been through, no official apology from the manager and I was offered a measly 10% voucher ...seriously, why on earth will I even consider staying here again. It totally ruined my holiday.
Had to be destroyed so clearly there is a problem with the door and lock mechanism. It is fully remote and it is so hard to get hold of customer support.

Pas glorieux…

Je vais essayer d’être le plus factuel possible pour expliquer la mauvaise note sur cette nuit passé dans cet appartement appartenant à des investisseurs qui ne sont pas sur place mais bien loin d’ici à Munich : 1/ la climatisation de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas et était extrêmement bruyante 2/ bruit de canalisation qui descend dans la chambre toute la nuit des étages supérieurs 3/sofa dans le séjour, absolument pas confortable et même horrible, avec des grincements, à chaque fois que l’on se retourne 4/oreillers tout plats sans consistance, impossible de dormir avec 5/ la porte d’une des deux douches était cassée et on nous a demandé d’utiliser une seule des deux salles de bain (pour quatre personne) 6/très gros travaux dans la rue (pas précisé) donc impossible de rapprocher la voiture pour déposer les bagages 7/communication avec les hôtes automatisée et peu réactive. Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée dans l’appartement avec une chambre  (#001)

Terrible experiencia

Todo mal con este hotel, debían enviar un correo para hacer el check in y no lo hicieron tuve que escribir varias veces y no logré comunicarme hasta que llamé a hoteles.com y ellos me ayudaron, dijieron que hubo un error y que por eso no habían mandado el correo, nuestro tren llegaba temprano, solicité check in adelantado pero no hicieron caso y no contestaron, al llegar la sorpresa fue que el taxi no nos pudo dejar en el hotel y tuvimos que caminar con 7 maletas por una pequeña vereda porque la calle donde está ubicado el hotel estaba cerrada, así que estuvimos por casi 2 horas parados en la puerta del edificio en medio de un terrible calor y polvareda por la construcción, sin tener a dónde ir porque no podíamos ir a ningún lugar, tampoco había algún lugar cercado ya que los locales de esta calle estaban cerrados, gracias a esto nos enfermemos por estar expuestos al polvo, solicité ayuda por teléfono pero no contestaban los mensajes y no nos ayudaron de ninguna manera, hubieran podido abrir el lugar y dejarnos estar en el jardín de dentro mientras estaba listo el departamento pero no les importó, durante este tiempo nos comunicamos con hoteles.com para poner nuestra queja y la persona que nos atendió realmente estaba haciendo todo por ayudarnos pero no pudo hacer mucho pues las personas responsables del departamento no hicieron nada por ayudar, cuando ya teníamos la clave de acceso no servía tuvimos que volver a solicitar ayuda para poder ingresar. Terrible experiencia.
