"At face value the hotel was adequate, at best. Yes, there was a bed. It was very unsupportive and saggy. The carpet in the room was filthy. The Jacuzzi jets did not work once while we were there! The pool towels looked like rags they had holes in them.
The “heated pool” was freezing cold. There was no lighting on the path, all the way down to the pool area. No lighting at all around the pool itself. All areas of the hotel looked like it could use maintenance and touchup paint or repaint everywhere. The breakfast area was clean, but the options were very limited, no protein at all. The lack of helpfulness of the night staff was appalling.
When in the hospitality industry, you must have some level of compassion and kindness to help people. When asked where our room was located, we were told they’re already assigned you get what you get. One of our room keys never worked every day we’d go down to have them reset it and it would never work until the day we left then both room keys worked! There was always electrical extension cords running out the side door every day while we were there. It just felt like they were trying to run the hotel as cheaply as they could. I was totally disappointed in how much we paid for the level of quality we received. They need to invest some money and staff training on making this sinking ship better."
