In winter they turned heating on timely basis, especially from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, which make room feels like freezer. Indeed room was immaculate, washroom was spotless, breakfast was incredible, staff was very welcoming and friendly, housekeeping was great.
Everything is perfect. The staff is great, the hotel is VERY clean and quiet. Also, the location is perfect because you don’t have to walk too much from the transportation places to the hotel (and believe me, this is luxury in a city like Venice)
The staff were very nice, and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was decent, and it’s close to the train station and nice tourist areas. The property is old, but overall, I had a good stay.
Good value. Simple, clean, breakfast provided, quiet. It's associated with a religious order, so there are some rules that are reasonable. The doors are closed between midnight and 6am so you cannot enter or exit then. Towels are only
The room was simple but had everything I needed and was kept very clean by the excellent staff. The free breakfast was delicious and was the perfect start to my days while I stayed there. The only problem I had was that the bug screens on the windows didn't seem to be doing there jobs. There were always a handful of mosquitos trying to bite me in the night and in the morning.
Very affordable hotel option, location is amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the shower was decent. You also get free breakfast which isn't bad at all for the price you pay.
Nice place, the people were nice. My single bed felt like it was for a small child, not an adult. The 10 am check out was a bit of a pain, but they held luggage for free, so that made up for it.
This was a GREAT hotel to stay in! The location, although it's a little far from the main tourist area in Venice (you can definitely walk there, though), was wonderful! Very peaceful and not crowded at all! The breakfast is extremely convenient, too. A couple of things I would have liked to know beforehand: this looks like a convent (not sure if it still is). Nuns provide you with breakfast, and there's a lot of religious paraphernalia. You also have a midnight curfew. You can pay a fee to have someone let you in after hours, if needed. This did not hinder our experience; if anything, it made it more fun, but maybe keep that in mind if you want to party in Venice (not that Venice is a huge party city, to be honest). Overall, great experience!
In a great walkable part of the city. We even walked to the bus station to take us to the airport. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by too. Excellent breakfast.
