"We were given a very warm welcome from our host. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It has been updated and was very clean and well taken care of. It is up among grape vineyards and gardens surrounded by beautiful forested hills. The owner was very knowledgeable about the culture and area contacts. During the night, movement sensors activated the bathroom light, exhaust fan, and bedside light, which made it difficult to get back to sleep after waking. "We had a great stay at Hotel Jama. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the highlight is the location—it is literally a 3-minute walk to the entrance of Postojna Cave, which made sightseeing effortless. On-site parking was straightforward at €10 per day. We also tried the dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant; while €32 per person is a bit on the pricier side, the quality and variety of the food made it completely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the caves!"
