Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. "The room is very well located and check in and check out is really easy. The host was super helpful and communicative. They even recommended a really good taxi driver that we used the whole time we were in Ljublana. However, the room was not very clean. The garbage from the last stay had not been taken out, so the room smelled bad. There is mildew in the shower and the showerhead which made the bathroom smell bad."

Top Velike Bloke Hotel Reviews

Occidental Ljubljana

Occidental Ljubljana

10/10 Excellent
"Had a lovely stay at the Occidental in Ljubljana. The hotel was perfectly located and the Old Town was a few minutes walk away. The bed was as good as I have had in a hotel. The shower and wifi were also good. Breakfast had a wide selection and set you up for the day. The staff were great. Thanks to the lady who greeted me warmly every morning and brought me scrambled eggs freshly cooked (sorry forgot name). Big thanks to Fatima who looked after our room and was very attentive. If we return we will definitely stay at the Occidental."
