The Lodge Billund

10/10 Excellent

"Our son said "This is the best hotel you've booked, mom!" when we entered the room. I might not agree fully, but we did love the cosy room and the small outside area. Our only concern was the lack of an air-conditioning, but the weather wasn't very hot when we were there so we didn't feel it, but I'm guessing it can get hot on a warm day. Other than that, the staff was excellent, especially Mikkel whom I chatted with for quite some time upon arrival. The breakfast and staff there was wonderful and we didn't lack for anything! If we go back to Billund (chances are high as I'm a Lego fanatic) we will stay here again for sure!"

"Generally, a good all-round hotel. Good parking facilities and water/juice and coffee freely available in reception area. Clean and good bathroom facilities. Clean room also and the actual beds are good; however, the sofa beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, with a good range of choice and served over a few hours. Staff worked very hard during breakfast service. Several times during our stay breakfast bowls ran out and took at least 15 mins to replace. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating."
