I later found out it’s an "on-request" service, but the staff failed to mention this at check-in. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and basic hygiene standards."

"It got off to a shaky start with my room not having a working safe, working tv, or working phone. Although the phone turned out to be because the whole phone system in the hotel was being upgraded. But I got hold of reception via the hotel whatsapp which was good and they sent up an engineer. They fixed the safe but couldn't fix the TV so they moved me to a new room and the rest of the stay was excellent. I really appreciated their help in trying to put things right. I think parts of the hotel look a bit tired like the ceiling in the pool room. Otherwise it was a really nice stay thanks"
