"Stunning boutique hotel that is the envy of every person walking past. The owner and her son were lovely hosts. Loved our loft style room overlooking the old pedestrian street in old town. Our room was located in the Venetian wooden extended windows above the hotel entrance. Just fantastic. Breakfast is continental but they do make you eggs to order. Loved the location as it is right in old town but not on a laneway with bars. Parking is difficult in Rethymno old town as cars aren't allowed...

"Had a wonderful stay here. The property is charming with a lot of character and a perfect central location. The “superior” room was spacious and bright and the staff were incredibly friendly. The cleaning staff especially were so kind and sweet. The shower did switch temperatures from hot to warm back and forth which was odd but that was the only thing we noticed. Overall fantastic and highly recommend!!"

The rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the pool and beach area were absolutely perfect. The best part, though, was the pool bar! Panos and Nikos were so friendly and welcoming, always helpful, made amazing drinks, and truly made Petradi feel less like a hotel and more like home. "It’s not an ideal property- it’s on a busy street and sits above a car rental shop with autos displayed in front, and it’s 2 flight walk up to reception (though I’m told there’s an elevator in back of the building). The view is toward a marina and industrial port- not as picturesque as Chania. The room was comfortably spacious and clean, and staff was great! Very close to bunches of restaurants and shops."

"You cannot fault this hotel. The rooms were bright,spacious and the beds were oh so comfortable. There was a wide and varied choice of food. But I think what stands out the most was the exceptional staff. Their customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They were flexible and helpful. I would especially like to mention both Lisa Smith in guest services and Despina who was serving in the water park bar. Both went out of their way to be kind, helpful and extremely friendly. I would also like to mention the new water park. The variety of slides appeals to all ages and the splash pad is excellent for smaller guests. Overall we had a fantastic stay."

"Hotel easy to find, next to large supermarket on a main road, a mile from the cross island route. Some parking, 3 allocated spaces and then on street parking nearby Has a lift but some stairs involved for most rooms. Room was a 2 room apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, with a large Smart TV, oven, hob and fridge. Balcony off each room, large shower room, and plenty of storage space. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool area limited, not enough sunbeds and begins to lose sun from about 3pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 100yds from the massive beach and its safe promenade full of bars and restaurants leading to town, about a mile away. The main road option I would avoid on foot, parked cars and busy junctions."
