The bathroom shower needed much better cleaning to remove some mold, the beautiful curved staircase was difficult for those with limited mobility, and there is no elevator. The food was not great but the beer selection was good and some of the wait staff were friendly "

"This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "
