"Not a stranger to Hideaway, I’ve been going for years. It’s not flash, and only had one restaurant available during our stay, but it’s a special place. It’s the staff that make it, they are pretty much all amazing, and the reason I keep coming back. They say at Hideaway that you arrive as guests and leave as family and it’s true. "The room is great for travellers on a budget. Large bathroom. You need to bring your own towel. Many activities to choose from. Staff are very accommodating and it’s a beautiful peaceful resort. Hammocks to read and relax. The water is beautiful and you can bare foot walk down the beach and back. Horse riding on the beach and surfing was the highlight. Food is fresh and flavoursome. Good portion sizes and good bang for your buck"

"My review is for the Pacific Romance villa. Decent sized room but my main priority was having a water outlook. Over the pool to the ocean. All staff are very Fiji friendly and will soon know your name. Dinner orders can be taken at around 4.30pm so just turn up at the appointed time 😀. I thought infinity pools were a gimmick but I so loved it looking at the ocean. Bonus that it's close to a supermarket and other restaurants. Sorry that I missed the reef walk, but I definitely enjoyed the basket weaving. A wonderful alternative to large resorts. "

"We had the most amazing time in Sea Winds. The villa had everything you could need and was well serviced every day. Villas are spacious clean and beds and pillows were very comfortable. The property also had snorkelling gear that we used at the Maui jetty beach. Staff showcased true Fiji spirit and nothing was too big of an ask.A big Vinaka Vaka Levu to Eddy, Lucia, Charmy and all the other staff who looked after us. Beautiful service beautiful smiles and stunning location. We are already counting down days till we can come visit. "

"Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the fact I could get away from bright lights at night and the blackout blinds. The wifi was perfect for calls/work, and never had a glitch. The property was quiet and beautifully landscaped with abundant fruit trees and veggie gardens, and I was even treated to fresh papaya and banana's and offered garden veggies! I loved going down for swims at sunrise/sunset and was often the only person at the pier. The beach is swimmable all day, although at low tide it's recommended to swim off the end of the pier. The local's are incredibly friendly, most speak English and as a solo female travelled I never once felt at all unsafe. HOSTS! This was the absolutely best part of the stay. Dee and Ken and their family were incredibly welcoming, helpful and made me feel at home the minute I arrived. Anything I needed Ken helped organise and was always only a text away. Nacho (the dog) was a fantastic tour guide and would accompany me to the beach guarding me all day until I was ready to walk home. Thank you so much. Cant wait to return!"
