"This is my second time staying at this hotel. The convenience to Dyreparken cannot be beat! We had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel and were not disappointed. The table agreed that that their coffee machine is great! We even had a emergency happen while at the hotel with our two year old getting injured while at the hotel (not the hotel's fault, just an accident) and the hotel staff was amazing! Many people on staff jumped in to help along the way, and two of them even offered to drive me and my son to the emergency room since my husband was away from the hotel at the time. When we got back to the hotel after my son getting a few stitches the dinner staff checked in on us again and made sure everything was okay. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff! Regarding the rooms, they have everything you need. The bunkbed rooms are more fun because they are more themed, but we had no issues with cleanliness, or anything like that. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will be back again again some time in the future. "

"The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Kristiansand. The staff were professional and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless & comfortable. I loved the decor and the hotel had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet, whilst being a little chaotic, was delicious. It was lovely being able to sit outside and enjoy the views across the square. The Sushi restaurant, attached to the restaurant was delicious. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely big room, very light. Comfy bed and large bathroom. Quiet and convenient location. Lots of niggles but still a good rating. Very hot in the room - as only one small window could open. There was a fan but can't really have that going all night. Confusing labelling is it KRS hotel or Q24? We needed an app called JustIN not Duve as told in advance. I hate having to rely on my phone like that. This was needed to open the door from the street, door to corridor and door to room. It meant I was worried about battery life on my phone all day. Make sure you give each guest's phone number then everyone can use their phone as a key. There were no instructions or information in the room about anything. We didn't know how to lock the door so had to phone up via the app. Other questions asked via the app, email or Expedia were not answered, including please add guest 2 phone number. No daily house keeping as advertised - not needed but would be nice if bin was emptied. Great to have a kettle. But there was only decaf coffee, no ordinary coffee and no tea bags provided. No idea where garden was, but location is opposite the river with lovely seating area. Confused listings and signage about restaurant when you are inside the building. There may have been one in the building but we didn't find it open. Not sure it's there to serve breakfast for the 11 bedrooms. But some previous reviews said there was breakfast. As I said these were all small niggles on a great start."
