cheap but not great

"The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Our friend in another room had tea making facilities (kettle, cups, etc) whereas our room had nothing. There was no room service done during the day while we were out. Room felt cold with no way to increase the temperature. Breakfast was underwhelming."

"this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk ..."
