"This was our first time at the Solo Suites. We were very happy how well kept the rooms and property were. The unit we stayed in was very quiet. The management was excellent too. The location is good. Lots of restaurants and shopping around. Easy access and a short drive into Victoria while being close enough to the highway to access the Malahat. We recommend Solo Suites, and we will stay there again."

"The location of this hotel is spectacular with ocean views second to none. The rooms were also excellent - spacious, clean and very well equipped. The eating facilities in the hotel need to be improved. Getting a dinner reservation at a sensible time required some forward planning due to the limited capacity of the dinning room. The table service was good but the food offering could be better to match the standard of the hotel. I didn't think it was good value for money but eating options outside in Ucluelet are limited. I was disappointed that the pool (very small) was out of action but the hot tub was available. Book all spa treatments in advance of arriving as none were available when I arrived."

"The location is very nice, the receptionist was helpful and polite. The balcony offers great view of ocean. Facility is not seniors friendly by design. Far too many stairs and gravel pathways. There is no assistance - or at least none offered - with luggage."

"Beautiful setting full of tall trees by the ocean makes it feel like we're "glamping". Amazingly close to nature/ocean front parks such as Madrona Park at Nanoose Bay, cathedral Grove at MacMillan Park and Coombs Market. Not to mention what a great walk on the ocean floor when it's low tide. Feels like it was at least 2 kms walk out to the ocean during lowtide. So much to see and experience. Great restaurants and activities close by, including Parksville Community Park with 8 beautiful pickleball court."
