"The resort was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and the onsite restaurant had great food. My only complaint was the beds weren’t made-up when the room was cleaned. I also really wish the resort had a pool/hot tub for guests who don’t want to golf, would have loved a room in the spa to hang out in and relax, maybe have a coffee."
"An older hotel, approximately 1920. It appears to be going though an upgrade which is still in progress. Some things are in need of replacing. Some of the exterior is being worked on. The top floors were not open. However the lobby and main stairs show the hotel once proud perigee. No restaurant options were available on site."
"I loved the history of the building and all of the antiques. The breakfasts were excellent. The only disappointment was that Room 4 was supposed to be set up for early risers like me. Breakfast starts at 9 and I am often awake by 5:30. Room 4 did not have fruit or muffins as noted on the hotel card in our room. In fact it was in complete disarray with only a kettle and a few tea bags. Also could use instructions for TV. All in all enjoyed the stay"
"Really liked the layout; putting the bed/bedroom upstairs was really unique; having a couch and / or chairs to sit in while watching a bit of TV instead of sitting on a bed against a headboard with a pillow for a back support, was great. I would book this unit again."
"I would stay rhete again.
The location was what we wanted. It was a good value which sold us. There were problems with too much light coming in from the outside lights. We MacGivered the blinds to block out much of the light. The older gentleman that was chain smoking in the corner of the hallway was annoying, but only because our room was in the far corner
Chessica at reception was very pleasant"
"We were there for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and the hotel is clean and well maintained considering its age. The section we stayed in was like a motel unit but without any kitchen facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel was not open on the day we came and a power outage in the area just before we arrived caused the only other restaurant in the area to close. However, the grocery store is modern and well stocked.
Very quiet and wonderful views over the water, although not from our room. There is air conditioning but it is noisy. We were able to manage by turning it on in the evening and turning it off for the night and opening the window. We were able to eat in the hotel restaurant the second night and enjoyed our meal there. The restaurant has a large deck and great views.
The front desk staff is helpful but only available when called. This is a little inconvenient at times."
