The breakfast I was blessed. The restaurant has an excellent menu that the locals come to dine. There are beautiful big windows to look out and outdoor seating on those rare Texas days you can sit outside.

Check-in was so easy and the staff was very friendly and even offered the best chocolate chip cookies. Room was overlooking courtyard for a pretty night view. Very clean, quiet and provided everything we needed. It was an extremely cold day so no sitting outside. Loved the laid back feel of this beautiful historic hotel. Hopefully we can visit again on a warmer day.

We hit the jackpot! After a weary travel day we were greeted with friendliness and a wagging tail! The charm abounds at this classic hotel. If you want boring, dull rooms, do not book here. If you want character and personality, this is the place to go! We loved it!
