"Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value."

"Very good hotel - restaurant provides good cuisine at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet outstanding quality. Only ‘complaint’ was lack of walk in shower. Bath with hand held shower difficult to navigate as panels too high and no grab rail. However pluses far outweigh the negatives. For those - like us - using Perugia as base to c For independent travellers HGWeJA is very accessible by public transport. It is about 1km from the main rail station. You can get buses (B,C)to and from the bus station which stop very near the hotel. "Enjoyed a 2 day visit to Assisi and stayed at the Giotto Hotel. It was so convenient to visit the sites - all within easy walking. The view from the hotel balcony is wonderful across the valley. Enjoyed a lovely glass of wine in the evening to take it all in. Fantastic. "

"Quick check-in as we arrived after 8 pm. Kiara went above and beyond for me when I asked for ice (which is a luxury in Italy). The room was a nice size and very clean. Breakfast was awesome and included an omelette station. Overall, it has been the nicest hotel we have stayed at over the last week in Italy. Highly recommend."
