"I picked this place bc it’s in the Times Square, walking distance to theaters. But I don’t recommend this place bc they lie about their rooms. I reserved “Water View Room” paid more money. Our room was very small that there’s no space for keeping our suitcases, so we kept them on our beds! There’s no view! “Water View Room”?! There’s no water view! Not even a peekaboo of water view! There was a tall building right front of our window. So I called the front and asked for a room with “Water View” cuz I paid for it. There is No water view room. They don’t have water view rooms even they advertise “Water View Room” and “Landmark View Room” those are bulls..t! Their building is surrounded by tall buildings and there’s No view rooms. Nothing but tall buildings right front of you. Only their rooftop bar got views. Of course you have to pay $17 for a glass of wine. Breakfast room get packed. Hard to find a table. It opens 6am, and they recommend you to be there by 7am, and we got there 7am but it was already packed. Food was a OK. They water down the Orange juice! I have never been to a hotel that dilutes OJ. I didn’t eat their breakfast from 2nd day. And their elevators are very inconvenient that you have to use your room key to get to your floor, and if your companions are on the different floors, you cannot go there directly from your floor. You have to go to lobby first and then go up to the floor you want. Very complicated. Not recommended. Go somewhere else."
"One of the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and they are worth every penny you spent. The common amenities are beautifully designed, it felt like a pristine museum/fancy lounge. The single room has a Japandi aesthetic which is really well-designed to feel spacious within the small space. Lighting are perfect, bright, warm, and cozy. Staffs are really well-dressed and caring. They accommodated my stay attentively. Highly recommended and definitely come back for another time."
"Likes: Beds were very comfortable.
Dislikes: Bath didn’t drain properly which meant both guests couldn’t use it. Took a while to fix.
There was no kettle or tea/coffee in room. Was provided on request but the milk/creamer tasted bad.
The room temperature was not well regulated. Too cold at times. However, blankets given on request.
Bathroom door got jammed and had to get someone to fix it very early morning and I was almost late for a meeting."
