"If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It really was exceptional. We were greeted by the most friendly manager she was truly happy to welcome us. We got a welcome delicious alcoholic beverage made by the bartender and also got a surprise in our room with another drink and fruit it was truly special never had that before. "Heise (sp?) and Lattika were the perfect hosts. Lattika made sure that everything we needed was taken care of . She was also very knowledgable about the various native animals who live in the neighborhood (how she could spot sloths is a mystery to me ). Breakfast was amazing ! "

"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and salutations, and throughout our stay it remained the same. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals. We slept like babies each night in the spacious lodging provided for us. The mountaintop views are breathtaking and taking a dip in the private waterfall was so refreshing!
