"What a great find! This hotel has a cool contemporary feel with stylish decor but not over fancy and boring or showy. The staff were always super friendly. The rooms (we had the standard) were spacious with big beds. The breakfast and dinner was amazing, we did half board which was worth it. They give you a voucher if you can’t make dinner but want to eat lunch instead in the pool cafe. My only complaint is having to pay €4.50 for water at dinner! At this nightly price I would expect free filtered water. Otherwise a great stay and would visit another of the PortoBay hotels again for sure"

"The hotel was very clean and was located on the beach. It was a short walk to old town where there were tons of restaurants, shopping, and bars. We had breakfast included, and there were a good variety of choices. There also was a restaurant and bar located on the third floor that had a wonderful view of the beach and ocean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My son left his retainers at the property and we called and they weren’t able to find them. They contacted me via email a couple days later stating they found the retainers. I was very thankful they did this. They are going to mail them back to me. I would highly recommend this hotel as it had everything you could want for a beachfront hotel."

"The pool was beautiful; so refreshing. It was lovely not to have to rush to get a shaded sunbed for our granddaughter - there were always plenty of beds and umbrellas available around the pool. Unfortunately, to get from the reception area to our rooms we had to negotiate spiral staircase made of stone. Having to transport a pushchair and carry a baby up and down these stairs was very dangerous and unreasonable. We were very surprised that there was no lift available. We had the same issue when we went to the pool or beach - another spiral staircase and no lift. The quality of food was good and the prices were similar to those in the resort."

"Overall, this is a good hotel with excellent facilities, especially the water park, which is the highlight of the resort. There are a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast is very repetitive, with almost the same selection every day. Reception staff are polite, but there are not enough of them during busy periods, resulting in long waits. Housekeeping could also be more thorough, as the beds are not always cleaned or made to a good standard. Unfortunately, a power bank was reported missing from one of our rooms during the stay, which was disappointing. The staff could also be more friendly and welcoming. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant stay, but improvements in these areas would make the experience even better."
