The staff were superbly professional and polite - they showed us to our room before formally checking us in so we could get settled while they worked away, thought this was a nice touch. "Amazing location up in the mountains, close to stelvio pass and Livigno, this is our 4th stay here. Rooms are nice and clean with everything you need, breakfast is great especially the coffee. The owners were very kind and helpful, especially for anything we needed for our little baby, nothing was too much trouble. "Well done---simple, basic , not complicated and as expected. I used the location as a base by which to explore the mountains. Close to some excellent restaurants in Bormeo and elsewhere. BEAUTIFUL VIEW from the room Breakfast cosi cosi, but OK. And at the end, the owner gave me excellent advice and directions to get to my next stop--and it wasn't easy--maps and GPS don't quite do the job in that area. Well done"

"My daughter and I stayed here in late April. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean, spacious and welcoming. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the restaurant staff were perfect. We did the spa and massage and the facilities were amazing. We are leaving feeling refreshed and ready to continue our travels. "

"Reasonable pricing. Restaurant was closed but pizzeria was open. Old building and the sound travels from the halls and occupants nearest to you. Views are beautiful though so that made up for the noise. We did a big drive so still slept well. Staff are lovely and helpful "
