"This hotel has a great location on the Valdez harbor and is adjacent to the main areas of town. The rooms were comfortable and functional. The nicest aspect of the hotel was the casual and friendly vibe. The staff were friendly, helpful and sociable. The hotel had a rustic ambiance. There was a decent common area and nice breakfast. It didn't have a guest laundry or exercise room, but the location made up for that. Overall, this was a good stay. "

"Very clean rooms, breakfast was the best so far with a great variety, there is a restaurant in the building. There was a slight mildew smell upon entering one hallway, but it had been raining a lot - it is Alaska... It's right next to the harbor and mountains all around so great scenery. Lobby had a fireplace which was nice to play cards next to. We did not check any other facility offers."
