"Het huisje ‘bosuil’ was goed in orde maar de weg ernaartoe was in heel slechte staat. Wij kwamen ’s’avonds in donker toe. Zandweg zonder enige verlichting. Nummer van huisje onduidelijk aangegeven. Parkeren bij huisje is op de weg. Inplanting huisjes nogal chaotisch. Ook veel te duur voor 1 nacht in vergelijking met een hotelkamer. Lakens waren wel voorzien maar geen opgemaakte bedden. Geen handdoeken voorzien . "

Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon

6/10 Okay

"No small breakfast option so €22 was excessive for a bowl of cereal, a coffee and an OJ. No other options in the area. The room was OK apart from the pile of pubes in the corner next to the loo. The banging from below, and as we were on the 1st floor, it wasn't another guest, was the worst bit, this went on til midnight and no staff could explain what it was or why. Wasn't worth the money, I expected better."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay."

"Room was clean, chairs not very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is trying to be more vegan/vegetarian. So you have to be very careful what you order. Breakfast buffet used to have ham, but that's not avaliable any longer because of being more vegetarian. Otherwise breakfast options are ok. The week we stayed in April was a warm week with a lot of sunshine, but the air conditioning kept turning off when we needed it and we could not turn it back on ourselves. Staff was very helpful, but this happened every day and it got a bit frustrating. "

"The hotel was in a beautiful location surrounded by the national park. Hotel room , swimming pool , gym was upto the mark. The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere with a fireplace in the lobby. Took a morning walk . Staff was great. Nice little town but shops were closed on Sunday morning. I’m so glad we had chose this place even though it was a bit away from Amsterdam. Would love to visit again. Park onsite plenty space . Breakfast was good."
