"I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable — right in the middle of the medieval city and just below the Sanctuary. It’s perfect for exploring Rocamadour on foot. The hotel feels new and modern inside, even though it’s set in such a historic area. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, and a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet (18 euros) was excellent — plenty of choice and good quality. I was also able to park just outside the city gate, about 200 meters from the hotel, for €6.50 overnight and then I had the perfect parking spot for the next day, which was very convenient. It was the perfect place to stay for one night so I could enjoy Rocamadour early in the morning before the tourists arrived. The only small downside was the hair dryer — one of those typical weak hotel ones that take forever to dry your hair. Also, the town is very quiet after 7 p.m. (I was there on a Wednesday in late October), with most places closed, including restaurants. Even though the hotel’s restaurant is open, the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m., and there weren’t many people around, so the atmosphere felt a bit dull. I ended up having dinner at the restaurant just outside the city gate, which was the only lively place that evening. "This hotel is slightly quirky but is very nice. I slept very well here and enjoy my room and the view over the valley. I didn’t eat at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner and I wanted something light, so can’t comment on the food. The view from the restaurant looked amazing. The only thing that would make the stay better would be to provide guests with a kettle to make tea or coffee in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again. There’s no elevator so if you have heavy bags, be prepared to carry them up stairs. "
