"All camp sites were booked out so we found this little gem. Would recommend as it is newly renovated and the host was super nice and hopeful. Allllllot nicer than motels/hotels/hostels nearby and nearly the same price. Bonus little outside fire pit!"

"Spotless Room and the Kindest Welcome What a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely spotless and perfect after a very long day of driving. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. I called the front desk earlier from Ridgway to confirm my room and let them know that I was driving down from Aspen and would be arriving late because of the fire situation. Iris was so kind and reassuring on the phone, and just as welcoming when I finally arrived. Check-in was incredibly quick and easy, and Iris took the time to tell me about nearby food options even though it was late. The room even had a microwave, which was such a convenient touch, especially since frozen meals were available for purchase in the downstairs lobby if we needed something quick. After such a long day on the road, Iris’s kindness and the beautifully clean, comfortable, well-equipped room were exactly what I needed. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"I stayed at the Comfort Inn at Durango for two nights/three days, and wasn't disappointed in the least. To start- I cannot possibly praise the staff too much. INCREDIBLY friendly, helpful, and competent. I travel frequently, and these individuals BY FAR were the most helpful that Ive encountered all year. The facility is very good. It's an older renovation and there are things that I frankly didn't love, BUT- it is clean, it was a perfect "base camp", the amenities were exceptional for the price, the pool looked very nice (didn't use it), the lobby area was very functional and friendly, breakfast was respectable, etc. So.... while it isn't a brand new modern facility- it was an excellent choice for a place to stay. The biggest negative of the entire property was the escalator- old, incredibly slow, etc."

"We have stayed here twice. Highly recommend this property. Oksana who helped us check in both of our stays made the experience perfect. She is super friendly, makes you feel at home and is very helpful with recommendations for dinner as well as making us a reservation. Parking is easy and close. The checkout lady was also pleasant and helpful making us fresh coffee early in the morning to get us on the road."
