"For starters the hotel there was booked with hotels.com. What’s nonexistent the previous owner of Machu Picchu boutique had moved to a different location and the pictures on the webpage for hotels.com are completely incorrect. The address for the hotel belongs to a different hotel at the time did not have any vacancies so me and my dad who is 75 were left out until 11 o’clock at night looking for a place to sleep. I hope someone reads this and makes the appropriate adjustments change or...

"The sheets were stained and dirty, the location is extremely noisy, very thin walls and windows. You can hear the noise in the street until 3 AM.. not recommended for a relaxing stay. The whole room just felt dirty. Other than that, the price was good."

"Horrible hotel. The room was uncleaned, we found pieces on nails in the tub which was out of order. The bathroom was too small and old. We were moved to another room so small that had only a small chair to put our clothing. There was no closet and we ended up with a cockroach by the curtains. "

"From poor amenities to terrible bedding, this was a bad stay. Despite advertisements, there is no Laundry Facility, no 24hr desk service, no concierge, intermittent wifi, no coffee shop, and no sound proof rooms. Breakfast was terrible - old and dried out pan de aqua with bad jam and instant coffee. Bedding was horrible. My daughter who had been sleeping on the floor at our relatives house the previous two nights, insisted that the mattress was actually harder than the tile floor and that it was...

"This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! "

Elegant approach overall they thought about every detail for us from welcoming us carrying our bags to the hotel. Then offering free amazing dinner with good service. You can always find water at every corner and even apples. Hotel is 2mins max walking distance from the train and right by machu pichu bus station. Hotel is at the middle of everything.
