"What an incredible place and location. Ronaldo and his wife were amazing hosts, My arrival time changed and he had no problem picking me up at the dock very late at 10 pm. accommodation was very cosy with an incredible view of the lake. "It was a very special and unforgettable experience spending one night at a floating island hotel on Titicaca Lake, though the conditions were not that as good as staying in a "real hotel" in the city and it was freezing at night. "First, the positives - reasonable price, great location near the main square, wonderful breakfast buffet, and kind and helpful front desk staff. Second, areas needing improvement - lighting was poor, bed linens uncomfortable and too heavy, but especially no hot water. I was excited to see a bathtub, but only lukewarm water and no plug. A staff person came to the room to "fix" but not remedied. Two nights with no hot water a bummer. Would have been great otherwise."

The bed in my room was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of street noise, but I asked to switch rooms for the second night and though the room was smaller it was much quieter and the bed was very comfortable.
