"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Beacon. Our two room suite was clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. We had minimal involvement with the staff but what time we did and questions we asked were promptly and efficiently. The only maintenance I could recommend is to tighten the door know on the bathroom door as the screws were loose. "

"The Mandarin Oriiental is a beautiful charming hotel on the Upper West Side with great atmosphere and a far more welcoming wonderful accommodating staff! The staff was outstanding and the service impeccable. I had a horrendous experience at the hotel I had booked with my mother in Soho that week who lost our reservation and couldn’t care less, even when I showed them it was not cancelled. They were not helpful and we were frantic trying to find accommodations at 1am. My mother had a knee replacement and it was extremely traumatic for her to not be able to lay down and ice her leg and to be treated so poorly while I spent hours trying to re plan our entire trip to see my daughter in college. We were very relieved to be in the such great hands at the Mondrian Oriental. I can’t say enough good things about every single aspect the staff did to make our stay special! It is truly a gem. "
