Upper Town hotel rooms a the Delta Hotels

"We stayed in a lovely turret room of the old Chateau Frontenac. The ambiance was excellent by and large--although I thought the pool was small and primarily filled with squalling children--but for the price ( ca. $800 a night) it wouldn't hurt to include breakfast. There were not enough Keurig pods of coffee in our room--three of us--and the lack of breakfast made me grumpy"

"Hotel is “tired” and needs refurbishment. Gym was out of date and not clean and room service took 70 minutes for a sandwich when the promise was 35-40 minutes"

"Location is great. Good hotel choice if in a pinch or won't really be using the room other than from sleeping. When we checked in, our beds hadn't been changed. Only noticed when we were ready to go to sleep. Floors seemed like they hadn't been washed. Overall it wouldn't hurt if the hotel got a little face lift. Worst part for us was the other guests and noise level. People coming and going at all hours of the night, slamming their room door and talking loudly in halls. Fully aware this can happen in any hotel but this seemed to fit the type of clientele of this hotel. Also go note, the pictures from Expedia do NOT fit reality."
