There wasn't anyone at the hotel to answer questions and I had to call a number to get buzzed into the building. "Our room was in very good condition, almost as if it had just been refurbished. Air con worked really well, bed very comfortable. Underground car park was huge, very well-lit and easy to access. The bar was a bit odd. Closing time was 10.30 pm, which is OK, but we were told that at 10.30 we would have to vacate the bar area! Didn't have breakfast there as 19 Euro charge per person for continental breakfast is excessive. All of us in our party walked out to a local Café and had an equivalent breakfast for considerably less money. However, if I was in the area again, I would stay there because of the parking and nice room. Definitely eat out though."

"Our room offered a beautiful view over Lake Constance and we slept very well. Everything was very clean and their breakfast was great. They offer a day pass for public transportation, which was very useful. All amenities were well maintained and very nice."

"A beautiful old hotel in the heart of the pedestrian part of the town. You do have to walk up a steep hill or many steps though if you go down to the lake! My only criticism would be there is absolutely no fresh air in the bedroom, I realise it's an old hotel so I'm not sure how you would change that..... The car parking is also a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you can unload before going to the parking area."
